Our Founder
In 2008, my sister Dilbar came home for the summer from college. I remember clearly how she took a deep breath and said, “There is no place better than home. I am finally home sweet home.” Those words stayed with me — a home filled with love, care, and support.
Years later, I lost both of my parents, and the “home sweet home” I once knew, filled with love and warmth, turned into a place of profound emptiness. I spent years navigating grief and healing, yet I was blessed to receive full scholarships to study in Hong Kong and later in the U.S. for college.
Having felt the pain of loss and despair myself, my heart deeply reaches out to children without parents. One day, I realized how lucky I had been to know even a glimpse of parental love, and I wept for children who had never experienced it. That moment became the driving force behind Home Sweet Home — connecting with orphanages to provide love, care, and hope.
Nothing touches me more than seeing lives transformed through compassion. Every child deserves to feel valued, empowered, and hopeful for the future. This is not just another nonprofit; this is about changing lives and shaping generations.
Together, we can bring love, hope, and opportunity to children who need it most - so they too can one day say, “There is no better place than Home Sweet Home.”
